Has anyone stayed somewhere nice in Cheltenham which they could recommmend to me?
We're after a child-free weekend in a hotel close to the centre of town.
TIA

this one has a good reputation everyone on trip advisor gives 5 stars! But only B & B

Also in a good spot halfway between montpellier and the prom /high street.

Hi, I live in Cheltenham.

Expensive:
Queens Hotel right in the middle of town, its a victorian hotel with a restaurant run by Raymond Blanc.

Hotel on The Park
My husband and I were going to stay in this Hotel just to have some time alone without the kids. It overlooks Pitville Park which is really nice, it's a posh hotel with a good restaurant! Walking distance to town.

Reasonable:
Cheltenham Park Hotel,in Charlton Kings. Has a pool, jacuzzi gym, nice place.Bus/taxi ride to town.

Deals
Thistle Hotel, just off Golden Valley bypass. Been to functions there, nothing special but facilities are supposed to be quite good. Taxi or bus ride to town.

New one opened up, cant remember the bl name but look on the net, its right in the town centre and very spartan hotel bit like Ikea inside.

Nice Pubs with good good: The Retreat & The Wine Bar in Montpellier

Good Restaurants: Cafe Rouge(French) on The Promenade or The Ruby (Chinese) in Montpellier.

Nightclubs or for a late drink: The Subtone on The Promaenade or The 21 Club in Regent Street.

Hope this is some help.
