Rhodes

We are thinking of going to Rhodes for a week DH is so fed up of being locked up in the spare room!!
Any tips?
Hotels seem to be mainly around Rhodes town Linda's looks nice but £££££ s

Isn't it on the 2 week quarantine when you get home list?

I was fancying Crete, but then it went on the list just as I was about to get my credit card out!

Lindos is beautiful. It's tiny cobbled streets though, not quite sure how any form of SD would work. I've only been high season though.

Rhodes is nice - ixia is close to Rhodes town and has nice hotels, whereas the other side of the island is more club 18-30, or was in normal times. Ixia is a cheap taxi from the airport and there's a bus to Rhodes town but I recommend renting a car at some point as there's a great archeological site

Meanwhile we booked - no quarantine at the moment - jet 2 said if quarantine introduced they will cancel the holiday so we would be covered
Ended up booking Rhodes town
DH just needs a break is working at home 12 hours a day sounds like a breeze but he misses the work environment.
I'm a frontline worker so dreading the winter - hope it all goes ok
