Hi everyone,
Flying to Oz next week, on own with 9 month old. Have 3 hours in Dubai, and wondering if anyone knows it. On the web there is mention of the Marhaba Lounge, and it says open to any class, but can't work out if you have to pay to get into this. Anyone any idea? Also, mention of a Mother's Room - sounds good - has anyone used it?
Any tips for surviving 24 hours with baby who has just got the hang of crawling, and has two teeth breaking thro'... much appreciated!
thanks,
mc

They sound like good amenities. I stopped over in Dubai on the way to Hong Kong but it was years ago and I was flying alone. I remember it being very very very clean, there were many rolex watches to be bought (if you wanted them) and the airport was enormous and white. It was 3 in the morning so my memory is tempered by that.

Have you tried searching online for photos - that might give you an idea of what those ameneites are like?

sorry not to be more helpful. Have a good trip!

We were just in Dubai airport for 2.5 hours yesterday. It is huge, VERY busy (even at 0200!) and noisy. We didn't use any lounges or rooms, as by the time we got off, through security had a drink and found our gate it was pretty much time to wait at the gate lounge before boarding again.
