Do I give my friend the money for day out with dd?

my friend has very kindly offered to take dd for a day out at london zoo, do i give her the entrance fee for dd? will be sending her with snacks etc and meeting up later for dinner.

I tend to offer the money - which is usually rejected. So I give money to dd and tell her to "buy some ice creams or something" which will only cost a few pounds.

At least then you have offered! If he's a good friend she wouldn't take the money IMO!

I would offer at least, if she's invited then it might be her treat?

agree with the others - on the day, offer the money along with snacks etc. Even if the money isn't spent on entrance fee, she could use ot to buy some crap souvenir that your daughter will fall in love with.

thanks everyone, i will offer, dd is 3 so icould give her a quid, shes never seen a note. or a few notes for another cuddly toy!
