Jet 2. Always been a great company to holiday. Don’t really like Tui and been a right pain to deal with this year
happytoday73 · 07/10/2020 20:10
Jet2... Especially in these covid times.. Much better to deal with
shartsi · 07/10/2020 20:13
Jet2 definitely
I wish they did holidays to the USA, cos kids want to go there next year.
notimagain · 08/10/2020 17:53
I thought they flew to NY.
All a bit irrelevant ATM and I may well be wrong but I don't think it's a regular service - though they have operated a few New York services as Pre-Christmas or Christmas specials in previous years.

Jet 2. They have been amazing this year. Refunded us super quickly, went above and beyond their own terms and conditions. As soon as we can I'll book with them again.
MozzchopsThirty · 08/10/2020 17:55
Jet2 were fantastic this year, cancelled holiday, refund took 72 hours
Would 100% book with them again

Jet2 have come out top on lots of customer satisfaction surveys. We have gone on a few holidays with Tui and found them not very impressive in general.
Livingthecovidaloca · 08/10/2020 18:11
We always use Tui, and they’ve always been excellent. Had a trip cancelled by then during the summer. Refund was in my account in less than a week.

Must admit never normally use a package tour operator but in these Covid times seemed the safest bet . We used TUI In September and they were brilliant our original holiday was cancelled with less than a week to go but they let us change holiday with an extra £500 to spend on top or refund. We changed holiday (Really easily online) and it was really stress free . As I said I have limited experience of package holidays and have never used Jet2 but was really impressed with TUI.

Jet2 is the wrong airport for us. We have used Tui and had no problems but as PP we don't noormally do packages. Was going to book for next year to Turkey with Tui but there covid policy is beyond vague so check that out.
We've ended up with a eurocamp type thing so we can drive.
tanstaafl · 09/10/2020 10:58
Jet2.
Used them three of four times.
But just for this : we flew back from Tenerife the weekend before lockdown started in UK.
Tenerife airport was in a state of chaos but the Jet2 people were there in numbers , visible and trying to help as much as possible, even if it meant admitting they were in the dark ( rather than fobbing us off with false promises ).
KoalaRabbit · 18/10/2020 08:30
We've used TUI in the past loads of times and never had an issue. Wished I'ld booked with them last year rather than booking direct then I wouldn't have lost £1500.
Ginfordinner · 18/10/2020 08:36
We have used both, and been pleased with both. Our Tui flight back from Madeira last year was delayed until the following day. Tui kept us informed, fed and paid for an overnight stay in a hotel near the airport.
Our Tui holiday this year was cancelled, and we received a full refund pretty much straight away.
We have always had excellent holidays with Jet2 as well.
