Package tour companies

We used to make our own arrangements for holidays, & occasionally used tour companies.
We got stung this year when a combination of flights & hotel went pear-shaped.

So, package tour operators seem to be the safest bet for the foreseeable future. But which ones are reliable?

We've had past bad experiences with Wendy Wu, Riviera, Saga, Newmarket, Tui.

Are there any that you can recommend, please?

PLEASE don't tell me any of those on my list are great - they all failed us miserably.

Trailfinders. Absolutely superb when our (very expensive) trip to Asia was cancelled this summer. No quibbles about refunds. I have used them extensively in the past for trips to South Africa and lots of Asia.

Also recommend Trailfinders wholeheartedly. We have also done hotel only bookings with them too, so you aren’t tied into a package of it doesn’t work for you.
