try www.thebijou.co.uk

I haven't stayed there, but remember reading about it in one of the Sunday papers.

5 min walk from centre. 10 rooms, VERY stylish. Upmarket B&B. It looks gorgeous.

You could eat at Hotel du Vin one night instead.

Hi there,

There's lots of good hotels in Harrogatre, Majestic and Hotel St George are two, Kimberleys nice as well. I like the Holiday Inn. Pretty central, decent meals (but have had better). Ask for a room with a nice view and you'll have wonderful views over Harrogate and far beyond! We were upgraded to a room with a superking size bed as I mentioned it was a gift for my husband!

hotel reviews

These are reviews for hotels in Harrogate. They're in order from number 1, downwards. Holiday Inn's at number 16,but I like these big, corporate type places over the cosy characterful hotels! See number 1 is Rudding park,It's in Follifoot which is actually outside Harrogate, country type, depends what your wanting really. I see the Bijou is rated as number 12, which is good and it seems pretty central as well.

Anyway, take a look!

Hotel du Vin. We had a superior room - our bath overlooked the green across the road and our shower was as big as a nightclub! Good friend had a wedding celebration there and it was wonderful.
