Hand luggage advice needed...........

Just read inf on mcr airports website re:Handluggage and liquids...

Help.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I guess I can take lipgloss BUT it must be in a clear bag and under 100ml..

I can take baby milk BUT it also must be under 100mls which is around 3 ozs.... What happens to the other 2 oz's ds has . Surely I don't have to make up several 3oz bottles..? Am I restricted to how many bottles I take...?

Do I have to make up the feeds or can I take bottles of water and the formula seperatly..?

Now due to ds's (8 mths)medical condition we have to dialate his bum and the tool we do this with I would rather take in handluggage just in case cases go astray iykwim.....I have a letter explaining why we have this BUT am a bit worried as no doubt security will pull us aside....not to keen in front of other passengers iykwim...advice please.

Are we able to take numerous toys and books for ds and dd(2.5years)..?

Sorry for all the questions .

TIA x

rules don't apply to baby food/milk/water. You may have to try it though - they are a lot more leniant towards people travelling with babies (i've found anyway)

take the sachets of powder buy a bottle of water
as long as you have a letter as to why you are carrying certain items with you there shouldn't be an issue
i took a rucksack of toys for my DS - as long as it fits their guidelines you will be fine

A friend of mine has just bought a 'trunki' for taking on the flight with toys etc for her ds (2year old). Don't know much about them other than they are the right size to go as handluggage and are rigid with wheels, so can be ridden on by tired/bored toddlers in the airport.

skirmish...read the bit by the sissors and the red area...
says they do have to be in 100mls bottles..

ruby,sachets...? never seen them. DS is on a c&g omneo formula.

Other thing about bottled water...forgot to ask..can't remember what we did with dd..are we ok buying water abroard, boiling it and using it that way..? Bottle water is ok isn't it..? I know its been subjected to filters etc but its better than the tap water being boiled...?

Monkeybar, those cases do look good,we have got dd a tigger one from the disney store. Its one she can pull along.

that's ridiculous! is there a helpline number you can call? (i flew last month from gatwick and didn't have any probs) also flew to oz in april and took big bottles (600ml) of steralised water which was not a problem either

shhhh · 08/10/2007 15:23

thought i may have been reading it wrong.... Will try and see if I can contact them..

they do sachets of SMA progress which i took just for this holiday as DS usually has cows milk
not sure about other brands though

don't think c&g have any..just cartons of milk.

Have just spoken to security at MA and they said either to taste the milk/water yet the water could be taken from us....BUT it can be any size,no restriction on baby milk.

Also the dialator will be fine. If we get searched they won't do so until we ok and will be done in pivate.

Thanks everyone x
