National Space Centre Leicester - bargain year pass

Just taken DS(4)to National Space Centre in Leicester. By signing a gift aid form when you pay for your ticket (they get some tax back and you pay nothing more), your day pass becomes a year pass. Bargain!!!
Oh, and if you go, spend an extra hour at the free Abbey Pumping Station right next door. Big engines from the age of steam to contrast against rockets from the 20th Century...and couldn't get DS away from the model trams and cutaway demo of loo and drains!...

The Abbey Pumping Station is great... sort of wish I had taken the children there first, before the Space Centre! The demo loo is the star attraction I think for children - just can't seem to get them away from that. Don't know of anywhere else with a demo loo.
