Going on holiday now whilst pregnant?

We’ve had a holiday booked for Turkey since last year and we paid the full balance back in January as got bonuses without knowing what would happen this year. COVID came and then back in May I found out I was pregnant. At the time we fly I’d be 20 weeks and it’s a small resort adult only. Currently the holiday is still going ahead so if we cancel it we would lose a lot of money.

What are people thoughts? Would you go and has anyone travelled abroad recently whilst pregnant? Thanks

I was pregnant this year but cancelled babymoon plans due to Covid. Even though I was desperate to go on holiday I couldn't reconcile myself about it especially if something went wrong and I ended up in a hospital and wasn't insured due to Covid. I'm planning a trip with our new baby next year now.

Thank you. We’ve decided to go as I checked the hotels policies and feel much better about it and we got insurance protecting us against everything even anything COVID related.

The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office currently advises British nationals against all but essential international travel.

This is still the advice from the Government.

I hate to appear picky but according to gov.uk the current advice is actually:

The FCDO has a global advisory against ‘all but essential’ travel, but exempts destinations that no longer pose an unacceptably high risk for British travellers.
