Passport expires end Sept - can I travel to Spain next week?

Last minute opportunity to have a trip to Spain (staying in a private villa that belongs to a friend). I have no problems with quarantine when I come home if necessary. Issue is I return on 27th September but my passport expires on 29th September. I had not been planning to go away but this offer is too good to turn down. Anyone know if that will be a problem when I arrive in Spain?

Passport validity
The rules on travel will stay the same until 31 December 2020.
Your passport should be valid for the proposed duration of your stay; you do not need any additional period of validity on your passport beyond this. This applies to the whole of Spain, including the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands (Majorca, Menorca, Ibiza and Formentera).
