last minute.com refunds?

Hi - I have had an email from them saying they are ready to refund my money for flights cancelled in July. Then they say in it that due to technical issues they cannot refund to the original payment method (was CC) but want my bank details......
I know - so alarm beels going for total scam. However they have the correct booking number.
So I went to the lastminute.com site and signed in to my account - lo and behold the same message. So now appears legit,
WWYD?

Did you sign in to lastminute.com via a link in the email or through the normal route of a search engine? If the latter, if there’s a way of securely messaging them via the website I would do that as a way of providing your details. Or give them a ring.

@DemiBourbon
I signed in through the link in the original confirmation email sent to me in Feb, which had all the flight details etc on it.
I will try that thank you.
Unfortunately none of the numbers I have found are in use (tried ringing them initially)

I had the same email back in July - gave them my bank details on the website and got my refund.
Have to say you're doing well though- took them 4 months to refund me after my flights were cancelled!

@corlan
Oh thank you for that! I have an inactive account that I will give them I think then... it’s open but there’s nothing in it to pinch... fingers crossed! Xx
