Best places in Greece?

Need to rebook some flights that were recently cancelled due to COVID and were thinking Greece next June. I've only ever been to Crete so was hoping for recommendations from MNers. Need ...nice views, to be able to walk to restaurants and beach (night life NOT required). Flights from where I live to Kefalonia are really rubbish times (arriving at 10pm) so probably won't go for that. Confused thanks all

For next summer I'm thinking about going to Rhodes for a week, and staying in an apartment in the old town, and getting local buses for day trips around the island. I love history and it seems there's some nice beaches.

I went to Crete 20 years ago and that's my only experience of Greece so far

Corfu is beautiful-we stayed at the Kontokali hotel, which is close to Old Town and I would really recommend it Smile

Naxos is lovely, beautiful beaches, amazing food and loads of places to explore. You can take a day trip over to Paros to explore another island while you are there.

We fell in love with Corfu this year. Never been before, but we will definitely be back.
