Thinking for next year, possibly year after if Covid still restricts.

How long is a good length to stay in Vegas?

Roughly does anyone know costs of flights and nice hotel in Vegas? I currently can't find anything online due to Covid.

What do you mean you can't find anything online due to Covid?

A v.quick google search will take you to several sites such as booking.com, etc, etc.

Also look at Trip advisor on the forums there. All the info you will ever need

As the previous poster said, a quick look at any of the usual travel sites will tell you prices. For me, 5 nights is the most I would want to spend in Vegas. I'd only stay longer if I had a car to do day trips do other places.

I would do at least 5 nights- been 6 times it is my fave place to holiday!! But you lose a night coming home as they are 8 hours behind so bear that in mind when you book. Depends on your budget as to where you stay - lots of options but lower budget would be somewhere like the Excalibur or Luxor, they are down the south end if the strip but still busy with lots going on. Higher budget l would stay with the Wynn or the Venetian. Oh l wish l was going!!!

I agree 5 or 6 nights for a first trip. We like Signature at MGM.

chipsandpeas · 20/08/2020 18:58

i was there for 5 nights and felt it wasnt enough, an extra 2 days would have been ideal
but depends on what you are planning on doing

Iv been 7 times and always go for 7 nights. It's my favourite place on Earth. Always fly direct it's well worth paying extra to avoid the faff and extra time of transferring places etc. Price depends on your budget, you can stay at the stratosphere for £30 a night but it's not even near the action or the Cosmo for £200 a night it's personal preference.

@pinksparkleunicorns We stayed at the Sahara last year when we went and that was really convenient as it has its own monorail station.

ItsJustTheOneSwanActually · 09/09/2020 20:43

Be careful when you go - it gets unbearably hot, and all the tarmac makes it worse. We were there in June and couldn’t wait to get away. 47 degrees is too much.

March and 25 degrees we had a fantastic time.

I reckon 4 days is enough unless you want to explore further afield.

zafferana · 10/09/2020 12:35

It really depends what you want to do there OP and who will be travelling with you. It also depends on what what will be open. Normally, I'd say be sure to book a couple of shows (Cirque du Soleil is fantastic, for instance), but with so much stuff closed due to Covid you might find that Vegas is a bit of a diminished experience at present.

Bear in mind if going with kids that it's not really a kids place. If you want to gamble, even just playing the slot machines, you can't have DC with you. They are literally not allowed on the gaming floors of the hotel casinos and you will be escorted through. If you just want to shop, wander and enjoy the sights of Vegas I'd say 3 or 4 nights is probably enough.
