Rome trip travel requirements?

At the moment, there's no quarantine needed on arrival in Italy or UK, but is there anything else that I need to know about travel requirements to be completed at either end of my holiday: I'm going for a short break next month.

Not at the mo
Your temperature will be taken and you'll probably fill a form in with your contact details.
Things are changing daily though, so keep checking.

You will have to wear a mask outside between the hours of 6pm and 6am "where social distancing isn't possible". That's a new govt restriction from this week. You'll have to leave contact details etc in restaurants.

Thanks for answers.
The link has left me a bit confused, about self declarations to be completed.
So nervous about missing something and affecting my travel arrangements.

You'll be asked to provide your contact details at the airport (possibly, but that's not in place for ALL passengers coming in from the UK afaik because the UK isn't on the list) Decent (respecting the govt rules)restaurants-( and if they weren't, I wouldn't eat there) will take your temp and ask for contact details.
I understand some airlines are also asking for onward address details.
I'm picking someone up from the UK on Friday. I'll update you. Smile

Just had a look at that form on the FO site. Print it and fill it in. They may collect it from you, they may not.
Tbh things as we know keep changing and in Covid terms a month is a long time!

Thanks so much, Scorpio: I was thinking that I would print off that form and fill it in just in case.
I imagine that a lot of people wouldn't do that, but I'm such a small print reader!
I'm going to Rome on 21st September; was supposed to be going in June originally.
Your practical, local knowledge is reassuring.

No worries! As I said, we have guests coming on Friday and are obsessively checking the rules!
Fingers crossed!
