How do I count the 14 days quarantine?!

Does the day I return count as day 1 of quarantine?

I would say day 1 is the day you are no longer in the country you need to quarantine from

The day you arrive is day zero. 24 hours later you have done one day of quarantine and that is therefore Day One.

So if you arrive today, Saturday, you finish quarantine a fortnight later at the end of Saturday, and can go out on Sunday.

Wording for England is in para 7 of reg 4, so until the end of the 14th day after the person last departed from or transited through a non-exempt country or territory.
