Has anyone managed to get a refund from Opodo yet? We had a holiday cancelled in April and we are still struggling to get our money back for the flights which were just over £2k. Keep getting told Opodo are waiting for the airline to refund (Emirates and £100 Ryanair), the airline won’t help because we booked through Opodo.
Will never, ever book through them again.

Same. They promised refund within 90days. It didn't come but instead I got an email saying that my credit note is available. I finally got through on the phone, they said that was auto generated and that I am still due a cash refund but the airline is taking a whole to send it over.

In the meantime the airline has emailed to say that they are giving cash refunds but, like you said, you have to go through your travel agent.

I agree that in the future I will spend the extra £ to book direct next time. I recently got a refund directly from Austrian Airlines with very little hassle.
