Norfolk

Can anyone tell me what Norfolk is like to live in with a young family? (Single mum with a toddler). It's a potential spot that I'm thinking of moving to, specifically Norwich as I could relocate there very easily for work. Currently live in the midlands and would like a change.

Probably in the wrong topic but never mind.

Ive lived in Norfolk all my life so ask away! I think it’s a lovely place to live. Near enough to London but peaceful and easy to get to the seaside. There are parts of Norwich I would keep away from though if you are looking for somewhere to live, avoid Larkman and Mile Cross (apologies if that offends anyone that lives there)

I love it! Also a born and bred Norfolk girl (with a stint in the West Country to miss it up a bit!)

I currently live in Norwich, basically in the city centre with my 3 yo Dd, also a single mum! She’s starting school next year, so I’m well versed on good schools and nice areas. Do you any specific areas of the city in mind?

What do you like doing as a family? And what do you like doing if you get any downtime?
