Anyone taken kids to Thailand?

Looking to book a villa in Thailand with OH, DD12 and DS9 and friends of ours. I was wondering what the food situation is like for eating out, or markets/supermarkets etc

DD12 can be fussy but DS9 will try anything.

What are your experiences of Thailand with kids in tow?

HI OP, we are regular visitors and, so long as you are travelling to a popular tourist area, you should have no problem at all finding suitable food for your dc.

Many restaurants serve typical Western food alongside Thai food. Also, in main areas you will also find Indian restaurants, American style restaurants, Italian restaurants etc. Supermarkets are pretty good too!

May I ask where you are thinking of travelling to and when? We are booked for November but the borders are tight shut at present. We already had our May visit cancelled and is looking increasingly likely our November trip is off too. ☹️ Hopefully next April booking will be ok!

We were due to go on 11th but obviously had to cancel as not allowed in. I have one vegan and one restricted diet with ASD so always fun finding places to eat! Found that a lot of the hotels have their menu online which helped, vegan looked more of a challenge than the fussy eater but that's the same a lot of places.

We will hopefully go next summer now but who knows when this will end.

Yes took my then 3 and 1 year old to koh Chang a year ago. Was super easy - both very good on the 24 hr journey to get there. Thai people so welcoming to kids!

It's easy to find food that caters to kids.Lots of Italian, Indian and German bakeries around.Tesco Lotus is everywhere. Thai's are great with kids.
We were on Koh Lanta in January and there were so many families with young kids. There are even two Swedish schools on the island.

Yes we have been frequently since DS was 10. They love kids. You will find things to eat.
