Paris with teens

Later this week we will hopefully be going to Paris, staying for just a night as we are en route to elsewhere. So we’ll have an afternoon and a morning for limited exploration.
We’ll arrive late morning, head to hotel near Gare de Lyon to dump our bags. Then I’ve booked Eiffel Tower for mid afternoon as that was the main request from the teens.
Is there anything else you would recommend for our very short stay? Other than just mooching? I’ve already been, many years ago, to quite a few of the museums & galleries, also the sewers, and I’d happily visit again, but no one else was that keen!

I think it is forecast to be really hot later this week again. We were there recently and it was incredibly hot. So you may find you aren't really wanting to do too much outdoors, at lest until the evening.

It may be worth booking somewhere to eat as not all the restaurants were open and not all were accepting walk ins.

I originally thought I’d book somewhere to eat, then decided against it as there seem to be so many places near the hotel...but you’re right, it’s probably worth booking something. Thanks for the advice!

I'd recommend a Bateau mouche boat trip on the River Seine. If you are staying at Novotel Gare de Lyon there is a restaurant there.

We’ve just left Paris - spent a very hot 4 days there. Our teens loved it - hits were hiring Velibs, Eiffel Tower evening trip, Pompidou Centre and Atelier des Lumières. We stayed in an airbnb in Le Marais.
