we will be flying to NZ very soon and am looking for advice!
have done flight load when they were babies but now ds is 2ys and we will need to take a car seat on the plane. which model is lightest/easiest to cart around airports and is there one that dd(10mnth) will fit in aswell if she gets bored of basinette?
thank you...

Do you really need to take a car seat with you? Can you not hire them out there?

I wouldn;t want to take my DS's car seat on a plane with us though I did see some other parents with a stage 1 car seat on the plane.

I think there is a concord one that is light weight?

I have a britax evolva and it is v heavy so def not an option for you!

I've taken DS who is two on shorter flights and he has sat and slept happily in the airline seat with no car seat, then we hired a car seat at our destination.

I really would try to avoid taking a car seat if poss
