Current Restrictions on entry to Hungary?

Just that really. Got a booked trip at the start of September. If it doesn't change before then I'm unclear if its a mandatory 2 week self quarantine or a test at the airport. And if it's a test at the airport is there a charge?
Has anyone been ? Does anyone know ?

Hi! I've been wondering the same. We have a trip booked in August and I can't seem to find any clear answers.
We've booked to travel for 11days (we're visiting family) but I'm assuming we won't be allowed to enter unless we extend our visit and quarantine for 14days??
I've tried calling the Hungarian embassy but haven't been able to get through..

It looks like it may be possible to go without quarantine if you have two negative covid tests - but checked how much it costs to get them done privately and it's too expensive.

You do two tests first I heard, unless it's changed
Very obviously, people lie, say they have symptoms, get the tests for free. Top tip.

But if you pretend to have symptoms wouldn't you have to self isolate?
Wouldn't fake it btw - knowing my luck the results would come back positive.

Up to you. That's what other people are doing, what you do is your choice. No, you don't have to quarantine before you get your results back, as you don't actually have symptoms!! Noone checks you know?
I'd have thought you'd rather make sure you didn't have it before flying? I would, anyway. It's just polite.
Afaik it's not just a 'test on arrival with no quarantine' option. Of course, everything changes so often who knows by September ..
Anyway, that's what people I know are doing so that's all I can say.
