Air b and b pricing

I normally search properties logged into airbnb but had looked on a pc instead, not logged in. Found a nice place, logged in and found it was £50 more a night logged in on my app! So another member of our party made an account and booked it for the lower price. How do the algerthms do this? Can I do something to make properties I search cheeper?
