Can someone help me choose a resort in Majorca?

Ideally want a short transfer, a sandy beach, clear waters if possible.

We are a family of 4, it will generally be a beach holiday but nice restaurants at night.

Thanks

Santa ponsa is nice. It has a bay and calm waters, lots of shops around and also lots of very small coves and beaches.

Water sports, boat trips, a go ape type place, segways and water park nearby.

Not sure what flight capacity this year as my holiday has been cancelled. Plus you have to fill' in 19 pages of health declaration per person and wear face masks except for when swimming.

"Face masks are not required at swimming pools, on the beach or whilst eating or drinking at a bar or restaurant."

Puerto pollensa is beautiful with gently shelving sand so is great for children. Lovely restaurants but it is quiet expensive to eat out on the sea front.

Puerto pollenca and Cala d'or

What do you mean by short transfer? The whole of Mallorca isn't that big, so is 90 mins ok? An hour? Or less?

usernotfound0000 · 15/07/2020 12:12

Cala D'or is nice, lots of coves dotted around the coastline, very family friendly.

I’ve been most of the resorts and Cala for my favourite

Cala dor

If you book a private transfer then most places are under an hour. If you're on a package holiday and use the holiday company's coach then it can take 3 hours because of all the drop offs!

For Spain you fill in a short health declaration form online and then 48 hours before your flight you complete it and are sent a QR code which you scan on arrival to ensure track and trace.

Very efficient

Calla Millor, Sa coma area is very nice but from memory its about an hour from the airport but as mentioned best to go for a private transfer, money well spent. I think we have been three times, we are hoping to go for a week end one its safe to go.

You can walk to Cala Bona which has some nice small bars on the beach near the harbour.

Sacoma is a short distance away too, all three places have nice bars and beaches and are family orientated.
Now if you do go the people who run this bar are very friendly and helpful with loads of info on restaurants places to go etc. Food is very nice and great value too.

This bar in Cala Bona is in a lovely spot with a couple of others lovely for an evening walk and drink
