Anyone used a Monzo card in France?

We are going next Saturday. Would normally take cash and use that everywhere, but in the current climate I would like to use contactless as much as possible. Has anyone used a Monzo card in France and is it accepted everywhere? Also were the rates good? It looks like it has no foreign transaction charges - is this correct? Can’t just use the debit card everywhere as we will rack up enormous transaction bills!!

I used it in France for a couple of months and it was fine. No transaction fees for paying by card, but there are some for withdrawing cash over a certain amount I believe.
It's a Mastercard so accepted pretty much everywhere!

I used it in Disneyland Paris with no issues. There are no charges, it just gives you the current exchange rate. There might be charges for withdrawing cash once you've gone over a certain amount so check that before you go. I found it really easy and a good way of tracking spending.

Yes. Used it there on a ski holiday this year, all fine. Reasonable rates and taken everywhere. Much less faff than cash.

Brilliant!! I’ll take a small amount of cash but mainly rely on Monzo in that case

Not France but we used ours in Italy no problem. We let them know via that chat function that we were going on advance just in case.
