Travel Republic sent me an e-mail last night to say I need to let them know by the 10th of July whether we intend to go on our Majorca holiday in August, or whether we would rather move our holiday dates (which would have to be to next year now).
Now that it's been confirmed we won't need to quarantine either entering Spain or returning to the UK (providing nothing changes) and it won't be against foreign office advice, I'm inclined to go as I'm desperate for a change of scenery. I know it'll be a bit 'different' with lots of social distancing and mask wearing, but I think we'll have the same issues if stay and have a break in the UK instead.
The only thing that's really bothering me is I had planned to take the kids (5&3) to several local tourist attractions such as Palma aquarium and Kathmandu park etc, but at the moment all these attractions still seem to be shut due to Covid19. Does anyone know if they are likely to have re-opened by August? We're not really 'sit by the pool all day' holiday people and I'm worried we're going to get bored if all the major holiday attractions are shut.
