Renting a villa

I would like to start looking for villas to rent in the Algarve for 2021 but I am looking for recommendations on reputable companies as I have read of so many scam ones. Can anyone recommend any ? Or is something like air b n b the best option .

We would usually do a package type holiday but next year would like to do self catering so searching for a villa is new for us

You can have a package holiday with a villa too. We've used James Villas and there is Villa Plus and probably others too

We've used Sun-Hat Villas. We haven't actually travelled yet, due to in a few weeks hopefully, but they have been very helpful through all of this and have a wide range of villas. The Real Algarve also came recommended to us.

We've used James Villas for tye last two years and are due to go on a 3rd holiday with them in a few weeks (that remains to be seen)
They do packages so car hire and flights plus Villa are all booked together.

We were supposed to be away right now with James Villas but was cancelled due to covid 19 😭

If you want to find something independent of a package then look at the FB page 'Everything and Anything Algarve'

Ooohhh I'm also looking at doing this, for flights booked but not really sure if they will go ahead. Apprehensive about paying for accommodation up front, does anyone know of places you can pay on arrival?

I'd really recommend Jet2 Villas - we went away to the Algarve last year and Jet2 were amazing! 👍
