Sénégal / The Gambia with kids

Has anyone got experience of visiting these places with kids. Hoping to book a holiday for next year (COVID willing) and I've always wanted to go to Sénégal and Gambia.

It would be me, DH and our two boys (6&4).

Any tips / ideas where to book would be fab!!
