Anyone been to Croatia?

Usually got to French Alps for Holidays with ds1,5 and ds2,2 and dh. Like cycling ,walking etc. Has anyone been to Croatia, Slovenia or anywhere else in that neck fo the woods as we fancy a change next year.

no, but dh has done some work there and have friends from that neck of the woods. sounds fantastic. v. beautiful, great climate etc.

palin programme isn't great so hopefully there won't be too many ernest retired couples bumbling round bosnia looking for puppet shows on mines.

We went to Croatia 4 years ago, mostly along the coast and on the islands, it's really nice. Campsites are excellent. The water is cold if you fancy a swim in the sea though, must be the currents or something as on the other side of the Adriatic in Italy it's warm.
