goes without saying she will want a nanny and a personal dresser and probably a stylist, i wouldn't leave the ground without them all

ladymuck · 25/09/2007 17:12

Jets are actually a bit of a pain for long haul though as you have to keep on refuelling, and the various private airfields will charge you an arm and a leg for the privilege (to say nothing of the time it adds). First class with a reputable carrier is much better unless time is very tight, and even then you really need to get hold of a corporate jet (with a fully staffed logistics teams who can get you the best routes). Downside with the corporate jets these days is that Sarbanes Oxley has made everyone clamp down, so you can't just nip off in Uncle Richard's corporate jet.

The upside is of course that by using a private jet on private airfileds you are exposed to fewer germ-ridden people.

DS1s godfather flies for this company.

He piloted the owner of Ferrero Rocher the other day and had to bite his tongue for 5 hours.

saythatagain · 25/09/2007 17:14

'Ere, 'ere LM
I were just about to say the same fing.

PestoMonster · 25/09/2007 17:18

Why did he have to bite his tongue? Had he O/D-ed on the chocolate?

Whooosh · 25/09/2007 17:20

You can't possibly want to fly the baby round the world-just think of the disruption to it's routine!

ladymuck · 25/09/2007 17:25

Ah well if you talk to Uncle Dickie's logistics team I'm sure that they can ensure that the refuel stops will fit in with the routine.

Whooosh · 25/09/2007 18:17

Well with that amount of cash, presumably SWMNBN could be persuaded to accompany the small one to ensure routien was adhered to?
