try friendlyrentals.com for self catering good clean and lots of different types of flats in the city center so you can travel on public transport. after arriving on the plane, I would recommend you take the bus to the center if your accn is in the city center as it is cheep and runs frequently, We didn't like the look of the cabs and the traffic was bad so u would end up paying, I did it with DD 6 mths old and DH

We used these people www.barcelonaapartmentrentals.co.uk/ and would really recommend them. We stayed near the Sagrada Familia so were walking distance from pretty much everything.
