UK spa breaks

I'm sorry if I'm in the wrong area, I can't seem to browse topics in the app.

I'm looking for a 2 day spa break in the UK for just DH and I. Would like a beautiful hotel, restaurant, and spa treatments. We live East Midlands but happy to drive up to about 3 hours away. Like the sound of the lakes. It'll be winter by the way.

I know you are East Mids but right on your doorstep is Ragdale Hall, it’s fab

Yes I have to admit I have checked Ragdale Hall as friends have recommended and it looked amazing, I think we'd only be able to do a night though rather than two. Although may check prices again on the off chance they've got some post Covid deals!

We went to Rutland Hall in Harrogate for my Babymoon. It was an amazing setting, the spa facilities are amazing (upgrade to use the rooftop spa otherwise it's not worth it) and we were given a free upgrade to a suite as it was my birthday as well. Food was good but I wouldn't say outstanding but breakfast and lunches were really tasty.

We've also been to The Swan in Lavenham. Facilities are lacking I.e. no pool but there is an outside hot tub, but the treatments are probably the best I've ever had and the food was superb. Just ask for a room overlooking the garden...it's a listed building and there's only so much sound proofing they can do to prevent noise from the main road through the town.

I'm now going to look spa breaks 😂

Ignore my baby brain 🙈 Rudding Park is where we stayed in Harrogate!
