Any suggestions for a short haul warm holiday in Jan - Apr for next year....

My mother in law wants to take us on holiday early next year somewhere warm but within about 3 hours flight.

Any suggestions gratefully recieved.

The Canary Islands. Gran Canaria needs all the tourists they can get to help build up the economy after being devastated by forest fire (the zoo, the botanical gardens) in summer.

My sister lives there, she says it is so pretty, nice and warm that time of year, great beaches, good food.

Squirdle - I would like to book into your B&B, our requirements, room service 24hr of course, laundry service, child listening service, MIL friend service and 3 square meals a day, two weeks if possible and maybe transfers to and from here!
