Hi all,
For clarification it's our five year olds first time going to Disney (the LA park) in December and I was wondering if you have any tidbits/advice to give.

(Operating on the assumption that everything'll be open, obviously)

How long are you going for - day vs a fortnight is very different needs.

My biggest tip would be "if you need to keep to a budget, make the trip shorter rather than skimp on services". The joy of Disney is the slickness with which everything happens, as long as you stay in a resort hotel, use the resort restaurants, buy the meal plans, get the fancier options. Just ignore the way money is evaporating out of your bank account.

For staying on site, the best value is by renting against someone else's Vacation Club points - it can be half the price. Although there'll probably be fewer points being traded given everything this year. Do look into it though - eg thepointsguy.co.uk/guide/renting-disney-vacation-club-points/

We will be there over Christmas! How long are you planning on spending there?
