anyone know of a nice hotel in turkey??

my mums looking to go on holiday in turkey. she's read reviews of all the ones the travel agent suggested and she's not overly impressed. she'll go anywhere but not marmaris.

and Kalkan

Waht is she after eg beach, peace and quiet,

she doesn't mind if its on the coast or inland. just doesn't fancy marmaris.

Can you give us an idea of what she is unimpressed with though? I mean it's not much of a brief...

Kalkan Regency is really nice. Not chainy. Beautiful spot, lovely pool, very relaxed.

i think mainly cos the food sounded a bit crap.

I went to Marmaris the town and harbour are very busy and you do get hasseled ALOT ! However we stayed further away in the mountains about a 10 minute ride by dolmus into town. We stayed at the Kervansaray Hotel 4* very nice food, nice and quiet but the hotel entertainment was a bit crap but the alcohol was free so you kinda forget !
