Who has been to the Doctor Who exhibition in Cardiff? Is it mind numbingly dull?

It's tiny - check the tourist information site and make sure you've got something else to do in Cardiff. Dr Who will only take you 3/4 of an hour, tops, even if he goes round twice!

Thanks
Is it child-friendly?

It's as child friendly as Dr Who is, iyswim. Certainly get a pushchair in there. It's just small and pricey for what it is. DS enjoyed it, he's 6 too and loves Dr Who. Lots of other threads on MN with Cardiff int he thread title with things to do here, but I'd suggest Techniquest which is 10 mins walk from the Dr Who exhibition. Again, not cheap though.

There's a Dr Who exhibition in Cardiff?

Ds was three when we went and was terrified. Took one look at it and stood fast, refused to go any further. I think it was the dark that spooked him.

Dh then spent ages going round on his own, leaving me to entertain a three year old in what is basically a very small precinct with no shops. Just a couple of restaurants and a bowling alley. Surrounded by a dual carriageway. Bitter, moi?
