Cancellation - additional losses.

Our holiday was cancelled because our destination closed the border.

The package tour company have finally agreed to a refund.

However, we've paid for airport car parking (cancelled too late for a refund) & there will be a substantial loss when we change our foreign currency back to sterling.

Any ideas how we can recover our losses, please?

P.S. I initially claimed on our travel insurance, but it was refused because of "action of a foreign government", so I can't claim on that.

Almost 100% you wont be able to claim for fx losses, but you should be able to get your parking cost back
