Not going as far as Australia but Italy in July. In February I was saying it would all be over by then.

Now I’m looking at what the latest i cancel out villa and get a full refund and what the airline policy is.

Personally, I am no longer even confident about October. I have paid a deposit for skiing in January though........just in case.

How can we possibly know the answer to that? Do you think some people have inside information as to what will happen in the future regarding a global pandemic?

No of course not! ABetter! Confused

Just nice to see what other people are thinking and feeling during this strange time,

We’ve never experienced anything like this and hopefully never will again,

Lots of people have holidays booked and are looking to the future it’s nice to have some thing to focus on when we are struggling with the pandemic!

We don’t think our trip to Asia will go ahead in July. I think countries will open for domestic travel but not international (unless you are prepared to quarantine for 14 days on arrival).

We were booked to go to Alaska July / Aug and the trip was cancelled this week. We've been advised to leave it 18 mths before rebooking to visit USA, until a vaccine is found or pandemic waves are reduced.

I honestly don't think our govt will open borders internationally for a long time. We have managed to get a handle on the virus with (at this stage) minimal community transmission. The only way I can see recreational travel occurring is with mandatory 2 week quarantine (which I would imagine you would need to pay yourself unless you are returning residents). It is also incredibly difficult to travel around the huge country with minimal domestic travel and state border closures.
This is all speculative but I highly doubt holiday travel will return to "normal"for a long while yet. Sadly.
