Just wondering if anyone's been to Brazil with a toddler and has any advice. We're planning to go in November, flying to Rio and then travelling down the coast to Parati and ending up in Sao Paulo. The things i'm most concerned about is can i buy nappies there (stupid question i'm sure), what kind of food will be available for my little boy and any other tips on essentials to pack.

Thanks

Its easy to get nappies, but not always familiar brands. As for food, there are alot of pay-by-weight buffets, so you can pick a bit of everything suitable. Its easy to eat healthily too.. tons of fruit and veg. If you're going into the counrtyside or any family houses, it'd be great for your little one to pick fruit off the trees; very educational! Mangoes and jabuticaba are best. If you'd like any specific questions answered, and I cant answer as its a while since I was there, I'll ask my best friend for you; he's Brazilian. We could even phone his Mum to find things out if you want to confirm brands available etc. I adore Brazil and am very jealous.I cant wait to take ds!
