Sev. years ago we stayed in the city of Tarragona and ate out in this mythical restaurant. It didn't appear to have a name, but had a wine shop next door (owned by them I think) and it was in the old town on a cobbly street.
If we know this restaurant was still there we'd go back as it was so amazing. There was no menu. The owner said the menu was written on his heart! You could get the usual raciones of ham ,cheese, foie gras, asparagus and when we were really stuffed full they offered us dessert. We asked what flavours of icecream they had and they replied 'well what do you want, we make them all.' I said mandarin for a laugh, and she had it and it was delicious.
I'd be greatful if anyone knew where I was talking about and could tell me if it's still there.
