Have you tried not rented any myself but always looks nice.
If you don't have to have a pool (I know you said you want one), a friend rented the youth hostel in Wells-next-the-sea a year ago for her 40th and it was fab, but DH did spend the weekend wandering round muttering about soap dodgers.
