Would you book this?

We are looking to go Cape Verde next April. There is a hotel on the TUI website that sounds lovely but it’s brand new and not open until October this year.

It is part of the RIU chain of hotels and is down as 5 star.

I’m a nightmare for trip advisor, but obviously can’t do that as it’s not open yet.

Would you book a brand new hotel? It is going to cost us around 5K so don’t want it to be awful!

I love a brand new hotel. Even if there are teething issues ( which there normally are) my experience is they will not want poor reviews and will compensate with something. Next April should be long enough for everything to be tweaked to perfection whilst still having that new feel.
Book good insurance in case it doesn’t get built or something else goes out of business though.

@Leflic thank you. I’m just worried that I’ll book it and it will get bad reviews when it opens. Maybe I should be more worried about it actually opening at the moment!

No but then I wouldn’t book with TUI or go to Cape Verde
