Eating in Kraków

A long awaited break coming up in Kraków and I am very much looking forward to trying some local cuisine, not any run of the mill pizza places or burger cafes etc.
Can anybody recommend a nice breakfast place and also some traditional Polish restaurants for the evening?
I have looked at Trip Advisor but there are so many I would rather go on personal recommendation.

I want to go back to Poland just to eat here again. The baked duck with apples is one of the most delicious meals I've ever had! (and the free shot of vodka at the end helps!)

I've been twice and love Kraków!

Italian - Spaghetti is lovely! Visited on both trips.

Polish - Morskie Oko was amazing! The lamb dumplings were sooo good! Gutted we went on our last night as we would have gone again. You will need to book ahead as they do get busy.

We ate at 'Art' and it was fabulous. It wasn't cheap, actually quite expensive, but it was like a Michelin star restaurant with food, that was unusual, delicious, unusual pairings, dribbles of sauce and jus etc, food I didn't even know what it was until she explained!
Totally fab.

Thank you all. Have now made reservations with a couple of the restaurants recommended.

I went in September and would definitely recommend Nota Resto, fantastic steak and incredible value compared to home!

Kraków is such a beautiful city, have an amazing time!
