I booked a package holiday in January for a holiday to Spain in June through on the beach which is ATOL protected. Worse case scenario if between now and then the FCO advise against all but essential travel to Spain because of coronavirus am I protected by ATOL or does my insurance policy need to cover that? apologies if I seem dim, this is my first time booking a holiday in over 10 years. I have read conflicting information online when trying to research. But I have attached a photo of what on the beach website currently states.

Bumping this as I would like to know the answer. In exactly the same situation. Booked for June package holiday with onthebeach ATOL protected, paid by CC and insurance through bank.

Yes you will be as you booked through a Travel Agent.

We have just had ours cancelled to Cuba as FCO have advised against travel. The Travel Agent will refund back onto our Credit Card.

Hope this helps?
