Locaboat - Holland - top tips?

We've booked a week in a boat in the Dutch canals for Easter and I'm just now trying to work out must sees, route plans and what to take/not take.

Has anyone done one of these type holidays - or indeed any other type of boat break, we're first timers (and also not campers... what have I got myself into) so just wondering if there's any must haves already got the gardening gloves and binos on the list and any complete wastes of time.

Also, am presuming power is going to be limited, so teens and devices could be tricky, oh, and teens and showers...... could be a smelly week Shock

Bumping this as we're finally off in a couple of weeks time!

Third time lucky- we've been locked down each time we've tried to go!

Soft luggage that can be stored away easily. Never much space. A torch. Showers were always fine, if cramped. I don't remember about plug sockets, but surely the boat specification details that? You can often get a wifi dongle these days. Most dutch towns have very good free wifi though. Which route are you planning?

Have you got plug adapters, UK to Dutch?
