Family friendly hotel near herts

Can anyone recommend a family friendly hotel near Hertfordshire for a family with a 1 and 3 yo please?

You'll need to be more specific, Herts itself is over 600 square miles.

Down Hall is really child friendly and can be quite reasonable off-peak.
Apparently The Grove is amazing, but right at the top end, price wise.

I'm in east Herts but don't mind anywhere near Hertfordshire at all
