Budapest with kids

We're doing a bit of a road trip this summer and end up with three days in Budapest city with our three kids (13, 11, 9).

Can anyone recommend anything we should definitely do/visit with kids that age?

Thank in advance!

Mine are 9 and 7, our top picks were the Miniversum, the park on Margaret Island if the weather is good (see the musical fountain and the pedal carts), and go up Buda Castle Hill on a warm evening to see the city lit up. My best advice is avoid the Museum of Fine Arts next to Heroes Square like the plague; we were followed around by overbearing staff who clearly hated children. The underground system is beautiful and if you master that it will save your legs. Please remember to validate your tickets in the machines in the stations or they will fine you..

My teenager loved the Fishermans Bastion, the funicularm the cat cafe and the big wheel at Deak Ferenc. House of Terror was interesting but all the English info was on handouts. Oh mine enjoyed the communist sculpture park, but maybe not for everyone.
