Any idea where to store all our lovely DC paintings and keepsakes, has anything been invented other than using a big box and storing it in the garage? I have tried lever arch files and they are not big enough so a box it is but seems a little like I am just shoving them away, would love to be able to store everything in date order? Any suggestions or idea?s Thanks

On a CD! Go through it all, keep just a couple of actual pictures or models, then digitally photograph the rest. THEN, take a deep breath and bin the originals.

Bear in mind that over the space of several DCs x several years, you will amass tons of the stuff. A day will come when you have to clear it out, (possibly in a hurry,) one way or another and it'll all be too daunting and you may have to say Sod It and bin the lot, anyway!

Stuff in boxes gets damp, the glues break down, the cheap paint cracks and fades, the glitter falls off, the mice eat the dough-clay. And you never look at it again! BUT if it's on your computer, you'll fairly regularly open the file and have a nostalgic look at it all.

I take half a dozen 'representative' pages of my DSs end-of-school-year work books and either photograph or scan them for exactly the same reason.
