Big Sheep- its in North devon , near Bideford. It a good day out so long as you like sheep and all things sheep like.
Lots of demos and shows about sheep- breeds, shearing, sheep dog training/trials, also tramolpines, ride on tractor course, football area and a barn full of animals to pet and look at.
Horse Whisperer show and pony rides, sheep raceing, tractor trailer ride round farm and land train ride we did not do, also a big play barn for under 10s and an over 8s laser combat zone.
I thought it was a bit expensive for a half day but if you have kids old enough to do a full day and keen on animals its pretty good. Kids under 3 ft tall are free, grown ups about 8 quid, discount voucher can be found on their web site.

I've been there too, several times, and found it a good laugh. You didn't mention the in-house brewery with tasting, that appealed to my DH.

A family ticket for 4 is £30

We usually use Tesco days out vouchers to go, makes it very cheap!

I've been here when my daughter was 2, she loved it, esp the sheep grand national (complete with wooley jockeys!)
