Hotel recommendations in Greece or Croatia with 6 year old DD

Hi. We had a hotel holiday for the first time last year after years of Eurocamps and self-catering. Am now a bit of a convert! We stayed at the Iberostar in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. Was so relaxing. Here:

www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Hotel_Review-g652121-d319549-Reviews-or5-Iberostar_Selection_Lanzarote_Park-Playa_Blanca_Lanzarote_Canary_Islands.html#REVIEWS

While I didn't really love Lanzarote, I loved the hotel, and am looking for suggestions for a similar kind of feel hotel elsewhere - maybe Croatia or Greece??
Something like the Spanish chain Iberostar would be great.
Not to busy or mad, lovely food and rooms, low key but lots of things for kids to do, lovely surroundings, rural, things to do locally and quite upmarket but not super expensive. No Ikos or Mark Warner, sadly - can;t stretch to that.

Any recommendations?

(For what it's worth, we also spent half of that holiday at the H10 in Playa Blanca too, and really didn't like it, so putting that out there as another context!! Bit souless and not very nice food).

TIA

Have a look at Lindos imperial resort and spa in Rhodes. We went there last year and booked a suite with a private pool. Wasnt as expensive as you may think.

Thank you. Looks lovely. Now I'm wondering about whether I should be booking something super-child-friendly... is it friendly for kids?
Thanks again.

Any other ideas also welcome!

We've been to Tsilivi, Zakynthos (Greece) twice.

If you want a fairly decent all-inclusive hotel, Hotel Caravel was fine - a decent pool and direct beach access.

If you want self-catering but with a bar/food onsite, there's a block of apartments next door to the Caravel at the Filoxenia Beach Bar. We had a really lovely time there, it's run by a nice Greek family.

We like Atlantica hotels in Greece, or Ikos if we want to splash out! The food at Atlantica probably not quite as good as Iberostar but certainly good enough a d every one we've been to has been immaculately clean and has great service. Our favourite was Creta Paradise which o think is branded Tui Blue now, although the Aegean Blue in Rhodes was also lovely. At Creta paradise we had a swim up suite which was well worth the extra cost.

Would you consider Cyprus? We went to TUI Holiday Village Aliathon when DD was that age and she had such a good time - and if she's having a good time, we get to relax too! Not low key though, and perhaps not quite upmarket enough but super family friendly.

I know Ikos are expensive, but Sani Hotel / Beach Club used to be more affordable and the dine around is great. They used to offer free dine around if you went before May half term which made it a lot more affordable.

Atlantica hotels in Greece are good too, exclusive to TUI so they might have Sentido or other branding. Some are more family friendly than others.

Or, Sani beach is beautiful if a bit pricey.

@zzzz31 the children's entertainment team last year was amazing. Pink wave are the company that provide the entertainers so you can look them up if you want. My ds who was 3 last year, loved it. Hope you have a lovely holiday wherever you choose to go.

Blue Lagoon Village on Kos and Blue Palace Resort on Crete.

Thank you, everyone, so helpful. I will have a look again at your suggestions.
